A chance to start over, doing what I love.
All my life I have loved taking photos, my dad bought me my first camera when I was working up at Glasgow University in the 80's it was an Olympus OM1 (I still have it) and that has continued to be my great love.
However, I was young, got married & joined the usual race for a job and never did anything to get out of that rut, for 30yrs.
Then I got the opportunity to combine my 2 passions Photography and
Professional Road Cycling, when in 2017 I decided to try for press accreditation at the 100th edition of the Giro d'Italia, a friend who is editor on a well known known cycling magazine offered to publish my photos if they were any good.
I also managed to get an interview with a professional cyclist I know.
In the end I had my little interview and some photos got published, and I was off, my love of the sport and photography has only grown since then.
